Myers Briggs Personality Type . . And Mindfulness

I like reading about the Meyers Briggs Personality Type (MBTI). I just read an article that captures some of my thoughts on learning about it.

It’s been a good tool to grow and mature into myself. By learning about the different perceiving and judging functions, I’ve learned that while humans are very similar, we interact with the outer and our inner worlds differently. This is evident just by looking at Extraverts vs. Introverts. And that’s just one factor of MBTI.

I can’t help but think of meditation and mindfulness, as well, which are tools to help you learn about yourself (and others) and how we interact with the universe. They’re a lifetime practice because we’re ever changing, and thus we always have something to learn.

That’s why I think I’ll always study MBTI. Your type is constant throughout your life (I’ve read), but you aren’t, so there’s always something to learn about.
